*** This is for entertainment only. I do not own any of the Stargate Atlantis characters. I do own Lieutenant Libbi Ann Zelling though. Lieutenant Zelling is played by model/actress Ines Sastre. ***

“We were lucky,” the Colonel said as he stood beside Elizabeth in her office. Carson, Libbi, Marcus and McKay were standing behind him as he spoke. “If we didn’t find those men then the Lieutenant would be dead right now.” Libbi looked over at Elizabeth and gave her a shy smile. Elizabeth stood and listened. “We’re sorry we even asked to go on this mission,” Marcus spoke up. Elizabeth gave them a small smile. “It’s okay. In a way you did accomplish something,” she said as she looked over at Libbi. She then dismissed the team and they all went their own ways. “Lieutenant,” a voice called out. Libbi turned and saw the Colonel walking her way. “Hey,” he said with a smile. “How are you feeling?” he then asked. Libbi shrugged and remained quiet. “You going to see the Major?” he asked her next. She gave him a look then narrowed her eyes. “Why’d you ask that?” She kept her eyes on him. He chuckled and replied, “Because you have to have a checkup with the doc, just like I do.” He knew though what she was thinking. Libbi relaxed a little then nodded. “Right, a checkup. Yeah, that’s where I’m going.”

They walked to the infirmary and waited as Carson checked over Marcus. When he was done, Sheppard gave him a little smile and nod as he walked by. Marcus gave a nod back then gave Libbi a funny look. She held in her laugh and made her way over to Carson. “Hey doc,” she said with a smile. He returned the smile and started to look her over. “You’re getting better Lieutenant,” Carson said to her. She nodded and waited for him to tell her he was done. He waved her hand to excuse her. “Have a nice evening Lieutenant,” Carson called out as Libbi left the infirmary. She gave the Colonel a smile as he walked by her. The halls were quiet as she made her way back to her room. She spotted Marcus leaning against the wall beside her door. “Waiting for someone?” she asked with a smile as she let herself in. He smirked and followed her inside. “I just wanted to ask if you were hungry and … well, maybe wanted to catch a bite with me?” he asked her. She removed her headset from her ear and glanced his direction with a smile.

“Sounds fine with me. I actually need to talk to you anyway,” she told him. Marcus walked beside her as they headed to the cafeteria. “Go find a spot, I’ll get us some food,” she said. He nodded and walked away in search of a clean table. Libbi let out a sigh and admired the view. “You going to tell him?” a voice from behind her asked. She jumped and turned to see McKay. He shrugged and handed her one of the plates. “If you really must know Rodney, yes I am going to tell him,” she said as they went through the buffet lines. She piled both her and Marcus’ plates and gave McKay one last look before she went to find Marcus. She saw him a few minutes later as he waved her down. She smiled and he got up to help her with the plates. “Thanks,” she said. “No problem,” he said as he took his seat. They ate in silence with glances to each other every now and then. Finally Libbi decided to say something when she spotted McKay giving her a look from across the room. “Um, Major, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.” Marcus stopped eating and looked over at her. “You know how I came to SGC, right?” she asked.

Marcus gave her a confused look then nodded. “Sure. You were a princess on your planet. There was a war going on and SG-1 was there without even knowing what was going on. You saved Doctor Jackson’s life that day and in return they brought you back with them since there was really nothing left of your planet.” He gave her another look. She nodded. “Were you ever curious of me?” she then asked him as she finished off her meal. Marcus paused and remained quiet. “Sure I guess I became curious. You’re popular, Libbi,” Marcus said with a small smile. He noticed her expression hadn’t changed. “What’d you do to save Doctor Jackson?” he asked as he pushed his plate to the side. She sighed and looked straight at him when she said, “I healed him.” Marcus blinked his eyes a few times then waited for her to continue. “Daniel was hurt really bad when I found him on my planet. He had become blind.” Marcus now was putting it all together. “You made him see again? That’s … that’s remarkable. Is that all you wanted to tell me?”

“You’re taking this well,” she said with a smile. He gave her a look then returned the smile. “I guess it doesn’t faze me anymore.” He reached out his hand and placed it on hers. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Marcus spoke up first. “I’m guessing the whole thing in the cave with the flashlights was you as well.” She nodded. He smiled then asked, “My dreams?” With a coy look, Libbi gave him a small grin. “Yeah, I have the ability to get in those too.” Marcus laughed and remembered his dreams from the night before. “So we’re good?” Libbi asked. Marcus nodded and replied, “We’re good.” They both gave each other a smile then got up from their seats. “I’m up for a game of ping pong,” Libbi said adding in a new subject to talk about. They both headed for the rec room. “Prepare to lose Major,” Libbi said as she grabbed a paddle and ball. Marcus gave a snort then replied, “I don’t think so Lieutenant.” They attracted the attention of some of the others that were in the room. “Just don’t go winning with your powers,” Marcus reminded her.
